The wine experts over at Chef and Vintner recently sent us a sample of their wine club selections which was quite the delight. Let’s take a look at this wine club and see what they’re all about. First, here is a picture of the Chef and Vintner packaging:
The packaging was very nice and was much better than most wine clubs which typically just put the wine in a box with no extra visually appealing packages like Chef and Vintner. So, they get extra points for that.

Here is another picture of my opening their package. On top of the wine, you will see a folder that containing wine information and food pairing suggestions.
By now, you may be wondering… But, how was the wine?! Well, I am happy to say that the wine at Chef and Vintner is incredible. Their selections are absolutely delicious and when you pair these wines with the food suggestions they include, you will realize how great the world of wine is.

Chef and Vintner offers three different membership levels; their discovery series, vintner series, and connoisseur series.
With their discovery series, you will get 6 shipments per year which will contain two to six bottles. The price of the shipment and information about the wine will be on their website 30 days in advance so you can decide if you are okay with the selection or not. You must take 4 shipments a year to maintain your membership status. The membership fee for this wine club is $99 a year.

Next, you could try their vintner series which offers reserve wines from ultra limited selections from small vineyards. These wines are so rare, that this club is only available for a maximum member count of 50 people. You will get 6 shipments per year of 2-6 bottles and must take 4 shipments to retain your membership. This wine club is not for beginners but for more experienced wine drinkers who can appreciate such high quality wine. The membership fee for this club is $495 a year.
They also have a connoisseur series which is for the wine collector only and can only be joined by invitation only. Email Chef and Vintner for more information about this wine club.
Now, let’s talk about one of the major perks of this wine club. The tasting notes information and food pairing suggestions. If you join their wine clubs, you will get food and wine pairing recommendations and recipes from a professional chef! What other wine club can offer you these professional chef recommendations? None that I can think of!
Take a look at some of the food pairing and wine information papers that I received with my wine club shipment:
When reviewing a wine club, we always take a hard look at what kind of newsletter or wine information comes along with the wine club, because it really is a valuable part of the club. With the wine we receive, we also had food pairing suggestions and instruction on how to cook the meal and make it perfectly as a professional chef would do. My wife and I have a lot of fun cooking and tasting these wines that we will be ordering more soon.

The tasting notes help you determine the flavor notes that are in each bottle and can help educate you about the world of wine.
In summary, if you are an experienced wine drinker, looking for a wine club that will bring you quality wines that will impress you with every shipment, than you will want to give Chef and Vintner’s a try.
And if you enjoy pairing food with wine, there is no other wine club better than Chef and Vintner because they have detailed instruction on how to make the meal, rather than just saying “pair with red meat.” So check out Chef and Vintner today!
